Video Production Assistant Volunteer

Duration of the Assignment: 3-6 months, beginning in January 2009.

Assignment Description: This is an opportunity to help the Video Production department at Habitat for Humanity International. The Video Production Assistant works in studio/equipment maintenance, setups and teardowns and archival tasks. It also includes collaboration with staffers in lighting, audio and camera work for both remote locations and studio settings. The Assistant will also need to be comfortable researching and obtaining rights and clearances. Other duties include dubbing, transcription, pre-editing, and distribution of finished tapes, optical media and digital assets to end users.

Preferred Skills: Experience working with Microsoft Office, good communication skills, and experience with video production. Must value teamwork. University degree preferred.
