Get involved with the RV Care-A-Vanner program -- Habitat for Humanity Int'l 1
Get involved with the RV Care-A-Vanner program
Why volunteer with Habitat? Watch Habitat’s 2008 video campaign.
There is no cost or commitment associated with becoming an RV Care-A-Vanner. It is as simple as contacting the HFHI RV office and having your name added to the RV Care-A-Vanners database. Once registered, you will be eligible to sign up for RV Care-A-Vanners building projects.
To become an RV Care-A-Vanner, contact the RV coordinator at 800-422-4828, Ext. 7534 or rvinfodesk@habitat.org. You may also sign up to receive monthly e-mail updates.
If any of your contact information—name, mailing address, telephone or e-mail address —changes, please notify the RV coordinator by e-mailing rvinfodesk@habitat.org.
Team leader training
The team leader training was a big success. Special thanks to Linda Walden and Lyn Laymon who conducted those trainings. We are in the process of reading evaluations to see how we can better serve you in the future. Please keep reading the monthly e-mail updates to see when and where the next training will be.

Volunteer in the RV Care-A-Vanner office
The RV Care-A-Vanner office welcomes volunteers willing to spend a few weeks to a few months assisting the RV coordinator with routine clerical and administrative tasks. It is a good way to learn more about the RV Care-A-Vanner program and to get an inside look at Habitat for Humanity International. There are also short-term outdoor volunteer opportunities with the Global Village & Discovery Center.
If interested in volunteering in the RV Care-A-Vanner office, please contact the RV coordinator before arriving at 800-422-4828, Ext. 7534 or at rvinfodesk@habitat.org. If space is available, volunteers stay for free in the HFHI RV park, which is located a few blocks from the headquarters building.
